Accompanied by David Baillie, ART's Engineering and Operations manager is a key customer from a US based multinational company visiting from Los Angeles with factories around the world inspects our latest addition to ART's state of the art CMM. This advanced CMM is for highly critical parts used in aerospace applications. A multitude of dimensions are checked with the system from International Metrology Services located in our Croydon factory's quality facility.
All three ART factories (Advatek, Hargo and Redmond) supply this customer with specialised electrical and electronic connectors and enclosures used in aerospace and defence applications.
Discussions centred around how to increase our business with the customer and upcoming programs of high value and interest to ART. Shown here with John Redmond and David Baillie, our customer just executed a long term supply agreement solidifying our mutually beneficial relationship. With each new customer ART expands is capability, know how, and technology base.
The combined teamwork effort of all three ART member companies was the winning formula to our business expansion.
